Paint cans, rollers and stain samples laid out before a painting job

Short answer

Quijano's Painting handles 40 painting and staining jobs across Atlanta, GA, from single-room repaints and cabinet spraying to full exteriors, deck staining and commercial work, grouped below into six kinds of work. If you are not sure which page fits, call and describe what you see; the walk-through settles the scope before any price is written.

Interior painting and color, one room or the whole house

Most interior jobs are walls, ceilings and trim in rooms people are still living in, so the work is planned room by room: furniture covered, plates off, patches primed, and each room put back once the coats are dry. The pages run from a single accent wall to a two-story foyer that needs a lift.

Basement Painting

Block, poured and finished basement walls and ceilings.

Two-Story Foyer & High Ceiling Painting

Foyers, stairwells and great rooms from planks and lifts.

Color Consultation

Sample patches and a palette before the first gallon.

Cabinets, stairs and stained woodwork that hands touch every day

Wood that gets handled daily needs a harder finish than a wall. Cabinet doors come off, get degreased, sanded and sprayed, while the boxes are brushed in place. On stairs, railings and stained trim, the first decision is whether to keep the wood grain or cover it.

Cabinet Refinishing & Staining

Interior Wood Staining

Stained trim, doors, beams and built-ins.

Drywall, plaster and ceiling repairs that come before the paint

Paint shows every flaw in the surface under it. These jobs fix that surface first: patching holes and seams, taking down popcorn texture or wallpaper, skim coating rough walls, repairing plaster and sealing water stains once a leak is fixed. Most finish with primer and paint so the repair disappears.

Exterior painting for siding, brick, stucco and trim

Outside, moisture does most of the damage, and the wood around windows, doors and gutters usually fails first. Every exterior follows the same order: wash, scrape, repair soft wood, caulk, prime bare spots, then finish coats chosen for fiber cement, vinyl, brick, stucco or cedar.

Decks, fences, porches and railings that take the weather flat on

Horizontal wood and metal take more abuse than walls: standing water, foot traffic, sun and rust at every joint. These are mostly stain and maintenance jobs, timed around dry stretches, and some start by stripping a failed finish. Soft washing sits in this group too.

We look at the surfaces with you, check the old paint and any soft wood, and talk through colors before a number is written.
