Repainting Garden Hills Tudor and colonial revival homes
Garden Hills houses sit close to the street on small lots. That puts the front of the house, the door and the trim in plain view, and it shapes how a paint job is set up.

Short answer
Garden Hills began in 1925 with the Garden Hills Company, and its houses are mostly one- or two-story Tudor and Colonial Revival homes in brick veneer or wood frame. Painting here usually means wood trim, windows and front doors set against brick, plus frame siding that has carried decades of coats, all on lots roughly 70 by 80 feet.

Brick veneer and frame houses set 20 feet from the street
Garden Hills was planned in three sections, Country Club, Peachtree and Brentwood, with a pool and community center at its heart. The National Park Service describes the houses as one- or two-story brick veneer or frame dwellings, mostly Tudor and Colonial Revival, with apartment buildings mixed in. Interior houses sit about 20 feet back, on lots of roughly 70 by 80 feet.
On a brick veneer Tudor, the brick is rarely what needs attention. Wood is: window sills and casing, gable trim, the front door surround and any porch posts. On the frame houses, the siding itself takes the weather, and decades of coats can build into thick, cracked paint that has to come back to sound layers before anything new goes on.
A natural ravine divides the original plat from the development next to it. On any lot that drops toward low ground, the downhill side of the house stays damp longer, and that is where mildew and soft wood usually show up first.

Limewash suits brick that has never been painted or sealed. If the brick already carries paint, a mineral or masonry paint is the better fit. We test a patch first.
Yes. Ladder placement and parking are planned at the walk-through, and the work area stays on your lot.
