House and townhome painting in Peachtree Corners
Peachtree Corners was planned decades before it became a city. Most of its homes date from the 1980s and 1990s, and many sit in swim-tennis neighborhoods or townhome communities, so check for a community color list before you fall for a sample chip.

Short answer
Peachtree Corners grew as Paul Duke's planned community from the late 1960s, and 38.2% of its housing went up in the 1980s. Exterior repaints on those homes usually mean caulk, sill and trim repair and, where an HOA governs the street, a color from its approved list, while 1990s two-story houses often need tall foyer and stairwell walls painted.
Homes in Peachtree Corners
A late 1960s plan, built out in the 1980s and 1990s
Peachtree Corners began as an idea rather than a crossroads town. In the late 1960s Paul Duke proposed a planned community, and in 1967 he began planning Technology Park Atlanta as a campus for high-tech firms. Jim Cowart built the planned neighborhoods in the 1970s, with early ones including Peachtree Station, Chattahoochee Station and Spalding Corners. Voters approved incorporation in November 2011, and the city began operating on July 1, 2012.
Most of the housing came once the plan took hold: 38.2% of homes were built in the 1980s and 27.1% in the 1990s. Houses of that age have usually been through several repaint cycles on their original siding and trim, and the caulk joints, sill ends and garage door jambs are where water gets in first.
Seven miles of the Chattahoochee River form the western border, and the city lists riverfront homes, swim-tennis communities and townhomes among its housing. Detached homes are 44% of units and attached single-family homes 11.4%, so townhome rows and their shared color schedules are a real share of the painting here.
